Saline implants are better.  Not only are they cheaper, there is less of a chance in getting a condition known as capsular contracture.

Thermos, I have never heard of that condition.  What is it exactly?

Silicone started out as the only option, but saline became a better choice.  I was surprised to see that silicone is still being offered despite the risks.

What is it about saline implants that prevents capsular contraction?  Isn't the same material used for the envelope on both types of implants?

Are saline implants covered with a different material than the silicone implants?
