board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Park trained at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in General Surgery and all aspects of Plastic Surgery including Reconstructive Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Pediatric Reconstruction, Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, and Endoscopic techniques. After his years of training as a resident and as Chief Resident, Dr. Park then advanced his education by traveling to learn from several of the leaders in Plastic Surgery, including Dr. Luis Vasconez, Dr. Bob Allen, and Dr. George Weston. He then returned to Wake Forest University School of Medicine and served as a Clinical Instructor educating plastic surgery residents and performing cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.

Originating as the concept of an ideal way to provide comprehensive skin, reconstructive, and cosmetic care, Mobile Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology, Inc was created by Dr. Chris Park and Dr. Roberta Swain. In this combination of services, each physician provides their knowledge, skill, and experience in their area of expertise in their own clinic. Dr. Park is the sole provider for The Park Clinic for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, PC and Dr. Swain is the sole provider for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery of Mobile, PC. However, the cross-fertilization of these often interconnected specialties allows the patient to receive innovative, current, and comprehensive reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, minimally invasive cosmetics, treatment of skin diseases including cancer, and skin care under one roof. Both Dr. Park and Dr. Swain are both board certified by their specialty boards and provide treatments across the range of their specialties as they have done in their previous positions, but we at Mobile Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology are confident that the setting, atmosphere, and expertise make for improved patient care and experience.
